Ed Robertson wrote this song for his brother, Doug, who died in a motorcycle accident in 1993. Ed dreamed about him a lot, hence the lyrics: "Apparitions still won't leave me alone. It's as if you've never left. How am I supposed to remember you, when you won't let me forget?"
