Lead singer Burton Bell has said that this is one of the heaviest tracks Fear Factory has ever written. The song is about Internet chat rooms and how people talk, gossip and tell lies. They are wastelands where people say things they would never say if they met someone in person.
The video was shot in an abandoned warehouse in Australia with loads of Fear Factory fans. They thought they had permission to shoot the video but didn't and managed to get vital shots before the police came in and kicked them all out.
