The second single from Broke with Expensive Taste finds Azealia Banks spitting rhymes about her indestructibility. The title alludes to all of the troubles and beefs that the rapper has been through since she first entered the music business, culminating with her breaking free from her Universal Music contract. The song was independently released on July 28, 2014.

Lil Internet supplied the song's beat. The producer previously worked with Banks on her 2013 single "Yung Rapunxel."

The song's music video was directed by Rob Soucy and X Nick Ace, and acts as a metaphor for the release from Banks' major label contract as we see the rapper being kidnapped, tied to a chair and left for dead in the desert. However Banks wriggles free from her constraints and joins up with a gang of dirt bikers.

The Guardian asked Banks whether the "heavy metal" in the title is meant to be "triumphant"? She replied: "No, as in 'I'm solid as a f--king rock.' Indestructible."

Banks added: "Did you see how many times they tried to shut my mic off? How many times Universal tried to turn my mic off? How many times the hip-hop world tried to turn my mic off? All the time. And I'm very heavy metal and reflective. You can't break me."
