This song is a homage to the Opera singer Maria Callas, whose music Calvi discovered as a child through her Italian father's record collection.

Maria Callas (1923 – 1977) was born in New York to Greek parents. Blessed with a soprano voice of fine range and a gift for dramatic expression, Callas was one of the most renowned and influential Opera singers of the 20th century.

The video was filmed on location in Mexico by Calvi's long term collaborator Emma Nathan.
