M.A.C.C. is made up of Pearl Jam's Mike McCready and Jeff Ament and Soundgarden's Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron. The name of the band is the initials of all their last names.
This is a cover of a Jimi Hendrix song. That song was part of an album Hendrix was working on at the time of his death.
It is the only release by M.A.C.C. and it appears on a tribute to Hendrix that also featured artists like Eric Clapton and the Spin Doctors.
The members of this band had collaborated on Temple of the Dog earlier in the decade.
