Stephen Malkmus told NME that he isn't proud of the song's lyric, "Ecstasy feels so warm inside 'til five hours later I'm chewin', screwin' myself with my hand."
He added that the line isn't from personal experience. Instead, he was, "just speaking for the common man. I was embodying the state of mind and worldview of many young partiers at dawn."
The song was erroneously known as "Silence Kit" due to an ink splodge on the back of the album's artwork.
