Between Rebecca Ferguson's debut album, Heaven, and her second set, Freedom, the singer left her former management company, claiming that she had been made to work until she collapsed and was scammed out of £100,000. "You know, this amazing thing happened to me – I actually became a singer – but mostly I was just surrounded by vultures and absolute bastards. And I had to deal with it, or go under."
