The follow up to Fuse ODG's hit singles "Azonto" and "Antenna," this love song finds the Afrobeat star toning down the hefty beats and taking the slower route. The dancehall powered jam was helmed by the Ghanaian producer KillBeatz, who also tweaked the knobs on Fuse's previous two tunes.

The video features cameos from dancehall star Sean Paul and former Bolton Wanderers footballer Patrice Muamba as well as 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth and Sarah Jane Crawford.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

This was used in the film Meet Me In St. Louis. Judy Garland starred in the film and added some of the lyrics. At first, the words were very dark and she didn't feel comfortable singing them in the scene, so she helped change them to lighten the mood of the song. It was still a very melancholy song, and included the line, "Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow." In the 1950s Frank Sinatra changed that lyric to, "Hang a shining star upon the highest bough." This is the way it was usually sung from that point forward, making it a much more uplifting song.

The song was first published in 1943 with lyrics by Ralph Blane and music by Hugh Martin. The song brought comfort to many American soldiers who were fighting overseas during World War II.

One of the most popular versions of this song was recorded by the Carpenters and released in 1978 on their Christmas Portrait, the bittersweet lyrics falling right in Karen Carpenter's wheelhouse. The song was revived again in 1987 when The Pretenders contributed their version of the song to the 1987 charity album A Very Special Christmas, which featured many holiday classics recorded by some of the most popular artists of the time. These versions of the song by the Carpenters and The Pretenders are the ones that dominate airplay of the song, but other popular versions have been recorded by Michael Bublé, Luther Vandross, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, Little Big Town and Keyshia Cole.

James Taylor recorded his version using the original, more melancholy lyrics, shortly before September 11, 2001 and scheduled to be released the following spring. After the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, Taylor and his friends agreed to release the song prior to Christmas. Taylor's version with the original lyrics captured the appropriate mood for that Christmas season.

Sam Smith's 2014 version of the ballad resulted in its first Hot 100 appearance. The previous best chart-placing had been Michael Buble's version, which peaked at #119 in 2011.

Frank Sinatra's version was used in the 2012 movie Silver Linings Playbook, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

Mel Torme's version was used in the 1990 John Hughes comedy Home Alone, starring Macaulay Culkin.

The Manhattans are a Rhythm and Blues vocal group from Jersey City who first formed in 1962 and have performed with changing membership since then. This moving song is about the end of a longtime love due to "obligations" and "ties." He asks the woman he's breaking up with to be stoic and remember him with love rather than falling apart and trying to stay together.

The song became The Manhattans biggest hit, reaching the top of the charts in the US and staying there for two weeks.

The song was written by Manhattans member Winfred "Blue" Lovett. He said in an interview that he envisaged Glen Campbell singing his tune. Said Lovett: "Back then I was into listening a lot to country things. Lionel Richie jumped the gun on me, but I had been listening for three or four years. I liked a lot of things Glen Campbell was doing... and Charley Pride."

"Kiss and Say Goodbye" was produced by the Philadelphia-based record producer Bobby Martin, a former member of the MFSB band of session musicians and recorded in 1975 at Joe Tarsia's Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia. It would be a full year until it was released, possibly as the label was concerned about dropping a ballad during the Disco explosion. "We thought that 'Kiss and Say Goodbye' would be the wrong song to release, and we were very much upset with Columbia choosing a R&B-Country song during the disco era," said Lovett. "And how wrong we were!"

Columbia issued two different singles: the full version aimed toward the R&B market, which included a mid-song rap and an edited "pop" edition without the spoken part. Lovett said: "Pop stations didn't like the rap the way I was talking, like Barry White, Isaac Hayes or Lou Rawls. They didn't like that talking in the beginning. They felt it would sell better, if it was without the rap. I was fine with that. Whatever would sell records that was fine." (Source of quotes Soul Express )

This was the second single to earn platinum certification status, after the RIAA established the designation in 1976. (Labelmate Johnnie Taylor's "Disco Lady" had been the first a few months earlier.)

Strauss was a German composer who wrote what he called "Tone Poems," which were classical pieces in one movement inspired by some kind of literary or visual art. This was inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's book of the same name.

This is famous for its use in the 1968 movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. It was used 3 times in the movie, including the opening sequence, which is considered one of the most famous pieces of film history. Strauss' movement is about 40 minutes long; the portion used in the movie was the beginning of the piece, which is known as "Sunrise" or "Dawn."

After this was used in the movie, it became popular as entrance music for sporting events and other dramatic events. The BBC used it in their coverage of the Apollo Moon landings.

Eumir Deodato recorded A modern, Jazzy rendition which won him a Grammy in 1973. Deodato, from Brazil, has worked on over 450 albums during his career as producer, arranger and keyboardist. Got a Job

This was the first single by The Miracles, who were then a five-member group that included Smokey Robinson's bride-to-be, Claudette. Released on New York's End label, the song got a lot of Detroit airplay and a little elsewhere.

The song was an answer record to the Silhouettes' #1 hit "Get A Job." When he heard it, Robinson wrote "Got a Job" with the idea that songwriting would be his job.

This was penned by the then-teenage partnership of Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson. Berry Gordy's first major professional achievement was writing a series of hits for Jackie Wilson, beginning with "Reet Petite" in 1957. Soon afterwards he began producing records teaming up with aspiring singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson of The Miracles. Smokey recalled to Mojo magazine January 2014: "On 'Got a Job,' he really just loved it and when Berry likes something he gets very excited about it. He and I went to the piano and worked out chord progressions and some of the lyrical content."

Motown Records didn't exist yet, so this song was recorded at United Sound studios in Detroit and released on the label End Records.

The Road

The Running on Empty album is a tale of life on the road and the struggles of an itinerant musician. Jackson Brown didn't write "The Road," but the song fit very well on the set as it described the comfortless lifestyle filled with motels and strangers.

The song's writer is Danny O'Keefe, who had a hit in 1972 with "Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues." And while "The Road" sounds like it was written after that hit, it was actually composed earlier. The song foreshadowed O'Keefe's fate, as he found himself living the song when he toured to promote his hit. In our interview with Danny O'Keefe , he said: "For me the road was basically go out for six weeks and after six weeks you were usually sick of the road and sort of beat to death and poor, because unless you stay out there for a long period of time it's very hard to recoup those expenses that you have when you're carrying a band."

Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson (Guitar Player, April 1986): "There's always one song that you're terrified of doing. You think it's going to be really tough, and 'Marathon' was the one. We wrote it and thought, 'This song is going to be like pulling teeth once we get in the studio.' Of course, we get into the studio and it's a breeze. And a song like "Emotion Detector," which we thought would be a breeze, was the killer. It was very, very difficult to get the mood right. I'm still not really sold on that song. It never ended up sounding the way I had hoped it would. Half of 'Emotion Detector' was done in one pass. Actually, that song had a whole different solo that took quite a bit of work. We left it, went ahead with some other parts, lived with it for 4 or 5 days, and Neil didn't feel quite right about it. He didn't think that it made the proper kind of statement to the song, so we re-examined it and I gave it another whirl. That was tough. It's one thing to rewrite a rhythm guitar part - you've got stuff to lock onto. But it was so hard to divorce what had been in my head as a solo for three months and come up with something that was a totally different feel. But I am satisfied with the results."

Walk on the Ocean

Is the ocean a metaphor for heaven? Is the song about Jesus?

To answer these questions, we asked Toad the Wet Sprocket lead singer Glen Phillips , who writes their lyrics. He told us that the band's guitarist Todd Nichols had composed the music, so Glen bashed out a lyric for the demo in about five minutes. A few weeks earlier, he had taken a vacation with his wife to Orcas Island in Washington State, so he had images of cleansing water in his cortex. "I wrote down literally the first thing that came across my mind," he said. "The lyric and the chorus, I have no idea what it means, unfortunately. Then I tried rewriting it and nothing ever really worked. I tried to make the chorus mean something, and eventually said, 'Well, it sounds like I know what I'm talking about.' So we just left it as is. It was the least-conscious, least-crafted lyric."

The verses in this song tell a semblance of a story, but Phillips describes the chorus as "nonsense" (wood becomes bone?!).

He likens this songwriting style to Nirvana's where the song might not make much sense, but it makes you feel something.

Fear was Toad the Wet Sprocket's third album, and their breakthrough. Released in August 1991, the album picked up steam when radio stations started playing its second single, "All I Want." The anti-rape but often misinterpreted "Hold Her Down" was the next single, and that one flopped. "Walk on the Ocean" was then issued as the last single from the album, and it was a hit, reaching its peak chart position in January 1993.

Apparently, some people thought this was a Billy Joel song when they heard it. When Joel appeared on a Howard Stern town hall presentation in 2014, Stern asked the singer about it and said he was convinced it was one of Billy's songs when he heard it. Joel said he had never heard the song before.
