  • This song is a duet with Ramblin' Jack Elliott, who is one of Wainwright's idols. With just their voices and acoustic guitars, the pair sing about the disappointment of coming to the end of life just as you start to figure it out. In our interview with Wainwright , he said: "That album is all about mortality and so it just seems like I just developed that idea and then got my hero Jack Elliott to sing it with me."
  • Wainwright's father was a writer for Life magazine. This song title came from a phrase that Loudon found in one of his dad's notebooks.
