The 6ft 9in Dutch producer Afrojack attempted to reach new heights on this pounding track. The house-pop tune was premiered on February 2, 2014 on Bud Light's "Cool Twist" Super Bowl commercial with free copies handed out to the first 500,000 people to Shazam. Rob McCarthy, Vice President at Bud Light, said. "Afrojack has an uncanny ability to re-imagine the status quo, and that skill made him the ideal partner to help debut our new Bud Light Cool Twist reclosable bottle."

Rising LA-based singer/songwriter Wrabel originally recorded this as a tender piano ballad. Afrojack liked it so much that he revamped the song for an uptempo dance single with Wrabel again contributing vocals.

Luna

The song features guest vocalist Rae Morris synchronizing with frontman Jack Steadman. Blackpool singer and pianist Rae Morris filled in for three tracks on So Long, See You Tomorrow, while the band's regular collaborator, Lucy Rose, was on tour. "It would have been great to have Lucy full-time, but it's just not possible, she's a star in her own right," Steadman told NME. "Rae came to one of our gigs and knew Lucy; she sang for us one day when Lucy wasn't available and it sounded great so we kept it."

The accompanying music video, directed by Anna Ginsburg, stars London-based synchronized swimming troupe Aquabatix. "The synchronized swimming aspect of it kind of related to everything that we were doing visually," Steadman said. "It was all about animation and loops, and I thought, when I was picturing these synchronized swimmers, it tied into that quite well."

Ginsburg also directed the video for "How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep," from the band's previous album, A Different Kind of Fix.

Jack Steadman explained the birth of this song to NME: "'Luna' began in India. I think that's where I started writing it, but it was very much just a rhythm part and a bass line, and it had a cool sort of essence to it, but it wasn't a song. So I worked on it a bit more. It was kind of a very electronic song at that point; it had kind of a dance hall beat to it. And I was singing a melody in my head, and it wasn't sounding right coming out of my voice, and I'd just been introduced recently to Rae Morris, so I called her up, and I thought maybe this was something she could sing on. And she came around to the studio, and it just worked. It was fantastic ... that was the moment I think where it really became something.

Rae and I were so excited about it when we first finished it. We went out that night, and I had it on my iPod, and everywhere we went, we would just want to leave so we could go outside and listen to it again. I think the lyrics kind of come from that night, really, of writing it and going out all night and just listening to it and that kind of twilight moment. And then there's obviously the comparisons between the subject - the girl - and the face of the moon."

The theme of Buckcherry's Confessions album is the seven deadly sins and four elements. It is part of a larger vision that includes a short film written by vocalist Josh Todd , who based the lyrics on his childhood and transformation into adulthood. This is about a guy who has a best friend who is always someone else's girlfriend. He knows everything about her and she runs to him every time one of her relationships goes bad. He keeps saving her because he secretly loves her. He'll do anything for her even though she hurts him by leading him on. While recording their Emergency album, the band decided to record in the Bahamas at Compass Point Studios in Nassau. While working along the beach, lead singer James "JT" Taylor watched the band members' children happily at play and thought to himself, "How blessed we are. God has been good to us and we should cherish it."

Taylor submitted the idea to the band's bass player Robert "Kool" Bell, who ran with it.

This song had special meaning for Bell, who found out his father was listening to the song when he died in October 1985.

This was featured in the 2009 comedy 17 Again, starring Zac Efron and Matthew Perry.

Ronald Bell, the band's saxophonist and music director, started collecting lots of new music equipment at the time, including a piece included on this track: a drum machine.

Ronald furnished the track and gave it to Taylor to write the lyrics, who said it was the first time he'd ever written a song in one sitting without any changes. Producer Jim Bonnefond did want to overhaul the song with new lyrics, though, and even brought in songwriter Sandy Linzer for the task. But Linzer wasn't having it. "They used maybe a couple of lines in the chorus that I gave them gratis, but I thought the song was perfect," he told Billboard.
