Bishop Jason Nelson is the pastor of the Greater Bethlehem Temple Church in Randallstown, Maryland. An anointed vocalist, he released his debut solo album I Shall Live in 2005. Nelson's Shifting the Atmosphere set received a Stellar Award for Praise and Worship CD of the year in 2013.
Nelson is also a gifted song writer, his credits including penning the title track of Marvin Sapp's platinum recording Thirsty.
The lead single from Jesus Revealed, this powerful ballad was penned by Nelson with long-time songwriting partner, Dana Sorey. It was recorded live along with the other 13 tracks on the record before a packed audience in his native Baltimore.
The song was Nelson's first #1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart. The pastor had previously been a featured vocalist, along with James Fortune, on Israel & New Breed's "It's Not Over (When God Is in It)," which led for 11 weeks in 2013.
