This Rhett Akins, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne penned song finds the narrator waiting desperately for a response from the object of his affection. Young told Pollstar that it's his favorite track on A.M. He explained: "It's just got this really cool slack-groove, and it's almost acoustically driven with a cajon feel. I just love the way it's written."

"I think it's got some of the coolest lines," Young continued. "There's a line in the second verse – and I hate when people line songs and here I am about to do a little bit of it – but it says:

"Man that's just some really cool songwriting," he concluded. "It's one of those songs where I said, 'Damn, why didn't I write that?' So we had to cut it for the record."

Joel started writing this song in the early 1980s about a relationship he was having with supermodel Elle MacPherson. Their backgrounds (and heights) were so different that he knew the relationship would fail, which it did. He predicted the end of the affair with the line, "And you can have this heart to break."

The title comes from television journalist Linda Ellerbee's signature line and best-selling book title.

When Joel appeared on The Howard Stern Show in 2010, he said that this was his least-appreciated song - the best one that casual fans aren't aware of.

This track had to be rush-recorded in a motel room in El Paso, Texas. "It was like a 115°F [46°C] outside so we had to turn the air conditioning off so we could actually record the microphones, and it just got unbelievably hot," the band's Iain Cook told BBC's Newsbeat.

"Maybe that was helpful though, to enhance our performance," singer Lauren Mayberry added.

Mayberry told Coup De Main magazine this is her favorite track on The Bones of What You Believe. She explained: "It was the last, last one we finished to go on the record - we didn't know if it was going to make it or if we were going to save it for something else. I think it probably represents for me where the band is at best, the sounds and the lyrics and the production feels to me, the most Chvrches song on it. It's got a nice bitter sweetness to it, which I think sums up where we're at."

My Heart Will Go On

This was written for the movie Titanic. James Horner came up with the music for this song and scored the film. Horner is a very popular composer of orchestral music, and has written scores for many movies, including Braveheart, Apollo 13 and Aliens.

Will Jennings wrote the lyrics. Jennings is a prolific lyricist who worked with Steve Winwood on many of his hits and also wrote songs for Rodney Crowell, Barry Manilow, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Roy Orbison and many others. Jennings told us the inspiration behind the lyrics to this song:
"James Horner, who I had worked with on other films, asked me to come to his house and consider writing something for Titanic. James told me the story of the script and then played me the theme he had written for the film. The character Rose, looking back over the all those years, caught my imagination and I connected her with a 100+ year old woman, still working, still vital, Beatrice Wood, who I had met a few years before in Ojai, California, an hour or so north of where I lived in Westlake Village. Wood had been an artist in New York before World War I and had lived and worked in France, and wound up in California and finally in Ojai, working as a fine arts potter. My wife and I happened to be in Ojai when the premiere of a film called Mama of Dada, a documentary about Wood's life, was shown and we went to see it and Ms. Wood herself showed up, very much alive and lively, 101+, and talked about the film before it was shown and then received all of the people at the premiere at a hotel across the street from the theatre where the film was shown. When she shook my hand I had such a feeling of vitality and life force - it was like nothing in my life before or since. When James told me the script, I focused on Rose and thought of Beatrice Wood, who was old enough to have been Rose, and I still had the feeling I had of the life force I felt when I touched Beatrice Wood's hand, and it was from this feeling that I wrote the lyric for 'My Heart Will Go On.' When James and I were working on the film, the rumor was that Jim Cameron had gone crazy in Mexico spending too much money and the film would be a big flop. The rumor was wrong. The film was a huge hit. The song was a huge hit. I am still getting over it. Totally unexpected."

When Jennings writes song for movies, he often looks at a script or sees a rough cut of the film. This wasn't the case with this song, as he drew inspiration from Horner's narrative. Says Jennngs, "I wrote everything from the point of view of a person of a great age looking back so many years. It was the love story that made the film, of course. It was magnificently done with special effects, the actors were good. But the love story was what it was."

According to Jennings, Celine Dion was the first choice to sing this. Jennings and Horner worked together on the 1991 movie Feival Goes West and wrote the song "Dreams To Dream" for the film, which Dion wanted to sing but went to Linda Ronstadt. After he and Jennings wrote this, Horner played it for Dion and she agreed to sing it. (Check out our interview with Will Jennings.)

This won the 1998 Oscar for Best Song From A Film and Grammys for Record Of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Song Of The Year and Best Song for a Motion Picture.

Worldwide, this was the biggest selling single of 1998 and in the UK it sold 1,312,551 copies, making Celine Dion the only woman with 2 million-selling singles in the UK. (The other was 1994's 'Think Twice'.)

This was named the best film song of all time in a 2010 survey decided by listeners of U.K. radio station Magic. Runner-up in the poll was Take That's "Rule The World" and in third place came Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing."

According to Tommy Mottola, who was chairman of Sony Music at the time, Dion didn't want to record this song. He claims that he had to convince her to record the demo, but when she nailed it in one take, they used that demo track on the actual recording since it was so good.

This emotional song finds Drake describing an on-off poisonous relationship with a girl. Despite the fact that she is constantly running around the city partying and communication is a problem, he keeps finding ways to justify staying with her. "That one hits you in the heart," Drake told Rolling Stone. "It's painful and beautiful at the same time."

Drake used to drive around in his uncle's drop top Lexus before he was signed. He refers to this in the lyric, "My uncle say, 'You drive my whip like it's yours.'" The Toronto rapper also discussed this memory on "Started from the Bottom" when he rapped: "And my uncle calling me like 'Where ya at? I gave you the keys told ya bring it right back."

Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke supplied the beat. He also helped create the soundscapes on a couple of Kanye West's Yeezus tracks, "I Am a God" and "Blood On The Leaves." In addition, Mohawke released a self-titled EP as one half of the duo TNGHT with Canadian producer Lunice. The pair lent one of its beats to Lil Wayne for the I Am Not a Human Being Part II track, "Lay It Down."

The Toronto poet Kenza Samir helped Drake write this song. She recalled: "When I texted him, 'Isn't it amazing, how you talk all that s--- and still we lack communication,' he was like, 'Are you talking to me about me right now or is that for the song?'"

Speaking to Vibe Magazine, Drake was asked how he came up with such lines as: "Wish you would learn to love people and use things and not the other way around." He replied: "I just have a folder of lines. It's usually from conversations. I'll open up and see the last thing that I wrote down. [Scrolls phone] Like this'll probably never get used: 'I'm not gullible, I just trust you.' Someone must have said that to me. I kinda just write down these lines."

"Who helped me write on 'Connect' is this girl Kenza," Drake added. "She's a great girl and a phenomenal poetry writer. We just sit together and come up with the best way to say things. Actually, me and her did [the lyric] 'love people and use things and not the other way around.' It's cool to get another creative mind in there, just someone who's thinking solely about the words and not the melodies and placement. It's nice to read her poetry sometimes, I'll take from that."

The title is an expression that can have many uses, but generally means "absolutely" or "for sure." In R&B fashion, the lyrics are a suggestive prelude to sex.

The acoustic guitar riff was taken from the Bill Withers song "Grandma's Hands."

The raps on this song, in order of appearance, were performed by Dr. Dre, Teddy Riley and Queen Pen. Riley is a very successful producer, and has developed many innovative sounds used by R&B groups in the '80s and '90s.

This won the 1997 Grammy for Best R & B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

"None of the guys liked 'No Diggity,'" Teddy Riley told Soul Culture. "None of them. They would even say it. That's why I'm singing the first verse. You know how they say they pushed the little one out there to see if it tastes good and see if he would get egged? Well they pushed me out there - and it became a hit. And now they wish they were singing the first verse, so that they can have the notoriety like me. So they trust what I'm saying."

Hype Williams directed the music video, which features Blackstreet rapping in front of a beach house and dancers performing on rain-slicked streets. Williams masterminded the video for another of the era's earworms: Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It."

Dream Theater open their eponymous twelfth album with this three part instrumental, which comprises:

It was the first vocal-less track the band had recorded since "Stream of Consciousness" from their 2003 LP, Train of Thought.

Guitarist John Petrucci explained to Ultimate-Guitar.com that the band were trying to set a mood with an instrumental track. "It's kinda like the idea was when we play live and before we hit the stage, we like to have some sort of like you said dramatic piece of music and something cinematic to bring us onstage," he said. "We've used the music from Psycho before and Hans Zimmer. The last tour was a piece from the movie Inception and just stuff that really sets the mood and you know the band's coming onstage. It was kinda like, 'Well, let's write our own. We can do this. How hard could it be?' So we wrote our own cinematic opening and the cool thing is it has real strings on it and it has that cinematic vibe but it's in the style of metal and it's kind of a progressive version of it. It's our spin on that type of opening."

The strings were arranged by Petrucci and keyboardist Jordan Rudess. They were played by a string ensemble, who were conducted by a young protégé of Rudess, Eren Basbug.

Lose Control

This song, from Missy Elliott's sixth album The Cookbook, is mainly about dancing to the music. Guest performer Ciara told MTV News: "It's about music, how music makes you feel and makes you lose control."

Ciara and Fatman Scoop are featured as guest performers on this track. Elliott also worked with Ciara on "1, 2 Step" for her debut album Goodies. That song earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration but lost to "Numb/Encore" by Jay-Z and Linkin Park.

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee stars in the second part of the music video when Fatman Scoop is repeating verses. This section is not part of the album version of the song. The video won a Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video, beating Gorillaz' "Feel Good Inc.," Jamiroquai's "Feels Just Like it Should," Martina McBride's "God's Will" and Sarah McLachlan's "World on Fire."

Elliott closed her performance at the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show with a bit of this song. The star of the show, Katy Perry, left the stage at this point so she could be strapped into her shooting star contraption and fly around the stadium for her final number.

The second instrumental on Dream Theater following "False Awakening Suite," they were the first vocal-less tracks the band had recorded since "Stream of Consciousness" on their 2003 album, Train of Thought.

Guitarist John Petrucci told Ultimate-Guitar.com that it was inconceivable that the band couldn't have made the album without his JP13 guitar. He explained: "In a rock band or a metal band whatever, the guitar sounds kind of dictates the way the album is gonna sound. Because it's a featured instrument and it takes up so much and it will sort of shape the direction and overall sound of the song. If it's really heavy, percussive and aggressive, that's the way the song is gonna sound. It's a very powerful instrument because it dictates the landscape you're setting up. So that guitar and especially the 7-string version of it. I used on a lot of songs on the album. You can hear it on the instrumental 'Enigma Machine' and when that 7-string comes in it's just so heavy and huge. That couldn't have been done with another instrument - it had to sound like that."

Keyboardist Jordan Rudess' main riff came to him in his sleep the night before the band wrote the song. He recalled to MusicRadar.com : "I was running everything in my mind, 'it's gotta be catchy, it's gotta be progressive, there should be a theme,' all of that, and there it was! It reminded me of the riff to a TV show, but it was also Dream Theater-like. I went to the studio and said to John Petrucci, 'I got something, but I don't know it you're going to like it.' I was having a moment of self-doubt. But he really liked it. He added to it, and we went back and forth, and it was extended, and that was that."
