Rickets Lyrics

It's so simple to look at every little thing I do wrong.
It's so simple to overlook every little thing I do right, right?

I think too much.
I feed too much.
I'm gone too much.
I skate too much.

I snore too much.
I'm blowin' too much.
I ate too much.
I'm way too much too stuck up.

You're probably right...
... this time, but I don't want to listen.
You're probably right...
... this time, but I don't even care.

I dream too much.
I think too much.
I step too much.
Those things too much.
I am too much.
I'm pissed too much.
I need too much.
I'm not one to trust.

You're probably right...
... this time, but I don't want to listen.
You're probably right...
... this time, but I don't even care.
And if it was mine to say...
... I wouldn't say it.
And if it was mine to say...
... I wouldn't speak.

I'm blowin' too much.
I think too much.
I eat too much.
My face too much.

I feed too much.
I piss too much.
I sleep too much.
I snap too often.

You're probably right...
... this time, but I don't want to listen.
You're probably right...
... this time, but I don't even care.

And if it was mine to say...
... I wouldn't say it.
And if it was mine to say...
... I wouldn't speak.

    Fitter Happier Lyrics

    Fitter, happier, more productive,
    comfortable,
    not drinking too much,
    regular exercise at the gym
    (3 days a week),
getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries ,
    at ease,
    eating well
(no more microwave dinners and saturated fats),
    a patient better driver,
    a safer car
    (baby smiling in back seat),
    sleeping well
    (no bad dreams),
    no paranoia,
    careful to all animals
(never washing spiders down the plughole),
keep in contact with old friends
(enjoy a drink now and then),
    will frequently check credit at
(moral) bank (hole in the wall),
    favors for favors,
    fond but not in love,
    charity standing orders,
    on Sundays ring road supermarket
(no killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants),
    car wash
    (also on Sundays),
no longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows
nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate,
nothing so childish - at a better pace,
    slower and more calculated,
    no chance of escape,
    now self-employed,
    concerned (but powerless),
an empowered and informed member of society
    (pragmatism not idealism),
    will not cry in public,
    less chance of illness,
tires that grip in the wet
(shot of baby strapped in back seat),
    a good memory,
still cries at a good film,
    still kisses with saliva,
    no longer empty and frantic
    like a cat
    tied to a stick,
    that's driven into
    frozen winter xxxx
(the ability to laugh at weakness),
    calm,
    fitter,
    healthier and more productive
    a pig
    in a cage
    on antibiotics.

    Fitter Happier
  • This less-than-two-minute insert is a long commentary on life and how artificial it has become. It is spoken in a metallic voice and it is not listed as a song on the album, although it is right next to "Karma Police" in small letters on the back. The voice was generated by the Macintosh computer SimpleText application.
  • In an interview with Guitar World magazine, Yorke described the song as a checklist of slogans for the '90s, which he called "the most upsetting thing I've ever written."
  • This song, known for its computerized voice, is musically a hybrid of a score composed by Jonny Greenwood, and a piano part written by Thom Yorke (and recorded while drunk).
  • Thom Yorke (from Humo magazine July 22, 1997): "I had writer's block for 3 months. In that period I could only make lists of words. It took me a long time to figure out that the only way I could translate my thoughts was with these lists." Yorke added in the same interview that he wasn't standing behind the lyrics any more as "sometimes your ideas get entangled with other ideas and then you have to apologize for the original idea because it doesn't make sense any more. That's what happened with 'Fitter Happier.' Now, I listen to the piano part."
  • This was featured in printed form in adverts promoting the album, prompting Ed O'Brien to comment, "I think that some people really believe that message and think that we are some kind of health-freaks."
  • During Radiohead's 1997 tour this song was used to introduce the band on stage. Previously they had used pieces from French minimalist composer Olivier Messiaen.
  • The sample loop in the background of the song says: "This is the Panic Office, section nine-seventeen may have been hit. Activate the following procedure."

A Certain Shade Of Green Lyrics

    A Certain Shade Of Green
Tell me, is that what you need?
All signs around say, "Move ahead"
Could someone please explain to me
You're ever present lack of speed?
Are your muscles bound by ropes
Or do crutches cloud your day?
My sources say, "The road is clear
And street signs point the way"

Are you gonna stand around 'til 2012 a.d?
    What are you waitin' for
    A certain shade of green?
I think I grew a gray watchin' you procrastinate
    What are you waitin' for
    A certain shade of green?

    Would a written invitation
Signed, "Choose now or lose it all"
    Sedate your hesitation
Or inflame and make you stall?
    You've been raised in limitation
But that glove never fit quite right
The time has passed for hand-me-downs
    Choose a new, please evolve
    Take flight

Are you gonna stand around 'til 2012 a.d?
    What are you waitin' for
    A certain shade of green?
I think I grew a gray watchin' you procrastinate
    (Talk that thing)

    Green?
    What are you waitin'?
    What are you waitin'?
    What are you waitin' for?
    What are you waitin'?
    What are you waitin'?
    What are you waitin' for?

    What are you waitin' for?
    What are you waitin'?
    What are you waitin'?
    What are you waitin' for?
    What are you waitin' for?
    Waitin' for?

I think I grew a gray watchin' you procrastinate
Are you gonna stand around till 2012 a.d?

    Truckers Atlas Lyrics

    I'm going to Colorado
    To unload my head
I'm going to New York City
And that's in New York, friends

    I'm going to Arizona
Sex on the rocks all warm and red
    And we bled
And the writing in the stall said

"we write our maps in the stalls"
    I'm going up to Alaska
I'm going to get off scot-fucking-free
    And we all did

This Truckers Atlas roads the ways
The freeways and highways don't know
The buzz from the bird on my dash
    Road locomotive phone

    I don't feel and I feel great
I sold my atlas by the freight stairs
I do lines and I crossed roads
I crossed the lines of all the great state roads

    I'm going up
    Going over to Montana
You got yourself a trucker's atlas
You knew you were all hot

Maybe you'll go and blow a gasket
You start at the northwest corner
    Go down through California
Beeline you might drive three days

Three nights to the tip of Florida
    Do you speak the lingo?
    Oh Oh No. No no
How far does your road go?

    Oh no, you don't know
    I'm going to Colorado
    To unload my head
I'm going to New York City

And that's in New York, friends
    I'm going up to Alaska
I'm going to get off scot-fucking-free
    And we all did

And the writing in the salt says
We ride out to the stars
    I'm going to Arizona
Sex on the rocks all warm and red

  • This is about a guy who snorts lines of crystal meth on a road atlas: "I do lines and I crossed roads, I crossed the lines of all the great state roads." He says he's "going" to whichever state the atlas is opened to: "I'm going to Colorado, to unload my head... I'm going to Arizona, sex on the rocks all warm and red and we bled."

    Last Cup Of Sorrow Lyrics

    Last Cup Of Sorrow
  • The overall theme is to let go of conflicts or problems of the past and just "Get on your way." It could also imply that hanging on to your past sorrows like divorce, breakups, materialism, and unrealized goals can eventually leave you in a crippled state of confusion later in life; hence the verse, "Everything you know and never knew... will run through your fingers just like sand." Finishing your "last" cup of sorrow is a way of moving into the future and leaving your problems where they should be - in the past.
  • The video, in many ways, is very different from the song's contents. Directed by Joseph Kahn, it features lead singer Mike Patton dressed as a private investigator who's hired to shadow a beautiful blonde played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. The video is based on the Alfred Hitchcock movie Vertigo, and features a scene in which Leigh's character has the bejesus scared out of her upon seeing the band's drummer coming into the bell tower of a cathedral. In the movie, the original character sees the silhouette of a nun in the bell tower, mistakenly taking it for a ghost or apparition, and jumps to her death.

    Hypnotize
  • P. Diddy (known as Puff Daddy at the time) produced this and sampled the music from Herb Alpert's 1979 hit "Rise," which was written by Andy Armer and Herb's nephew, Randy Badazz Alpert, who told us: "I asked Puffy, in 1996 when he first called me concerning using 'Rise' for 'Hypnotize,' why he chose the 'Rise' groove. He told me that in the summer of 1979 when he was I think 10 years old the song was a huge hit everywhere in New York and 'Rise' along with Chic's 'Good Times' were 'The Songs' that all the kids were dancing and roller skating to that summer. He had always remembered that summer and that song. When he first played the loop for Biggie, Biggie smiled and hugged him."
  • Randy Badazz Alpert: "Over the years I was approached by Ice Cube, Easy E, Vanilla Ice, and maybe another 4-5 artists to use the song and I never said yes until I heard a rough version of Biggie's recording. I was sent a cassette from Puffy and when I cranked it up I not only immediately loved it but my gut thought that this could be a #1 record once again. The original 'Rise' record climbed the chart all summer and became #1 around the end of October. Biggie's version was released and charted its first week at #2 and went to #1 the second week."
  • Biggie Smalls wrote the entire rap, including the female vocals. Alpert told us: "When I first met Biggie before they recorded 'Hypnotize' he played me a demo version with him doing the girl's part. I still have that cassette demo and it's definitely a classic piece of rap history."
  • Pam Long from the group Total sang the hook.
  • Part of Slick Rick's song "La Di Da Di" was sampled for the chorus.
  • This was released shortly before Biggie Smalls was shot to death on March 9, 1997. It hit #1 seven weeks after his death.

  • A track from the first Coal Chamber album, "Loco" became the Metal band's most popular song, thanks in large part to a manic video directed by Nathan "Karma" Cox, who would later direct clips for Queens of the Stone Age, Disturbed and Linkin Park.
  • "Loco" is Spanish for "crazy," and this song is about a guy who is losing his mind. In our interview with lead singer Dez Fafara , who wrote the lyrics, he explained that it was inspired by the music scene in Los Angeles, which he felt had gone stagnant.

"That's about living in Los Angeles and just wanting to do something different," he said. "And having a persona around myself where people think I'm a little nuts, but really I'm crazy for music."

    Cold
  • Frontman John Grant told Uncut magazine January 2014: "'Cold' is definitely a step up in my songwriting, and that's because I wrote it about Jeff (Linsenmaier, drums). I was mad at him. So it was the first time I connected with raw emotion and wrote down how I felt. That's what works the best: unadulterated feeling and passion. Cold was probably the first glimpse."
  • Grant explained to Uncut why he was angry with his drummer: "I always had the best relationships with my guitarists," he said. "I didn't fill my drama was particularly good. I felt he was holding back because he was angry with me for not letting him have the amount of control that he wanted."

Czars founder member Jeff Linsenmaier remained with The Czars until after the release of Goodbye in 2004, when five of the six members of the band over the span of nine months, leaving John Grant as the sole remaining member. Linsenmaier has since worked with The Fray acting as the drum technician on their 2009 self-titled album.

Started at the age of four
My mother went to the grocery store
Went sneaking through her bedroom door
To find something in a size four

Sugar and spice and everything nice
    Wasn't made for only girls
GI Joe in panty hose is making room
    For the one and only

King for a Day, princess by dawn
King for a day in a leather thong
King for a day, princess by dawn
Just wait 'til all the guys get a load of me

My daddy threw me in therapy
He thinks I'm not a real man
Who put the drag in the drag queen
Don't knock it until you tried it

Sugar and spice and everything nice
    Wasn't made for only girls
GI Joe in panty hose is making room
    For the one and only

I get camping eyes in the final hour
    Last minute shoppers picking cauliflower
The fuss they make, you'd swear they were buying a car

They always moan, moan it's not so cheap
Cheaper still, cheaper still down the street
Lose my rag and tell them take your bag and shop down there

Closing down, they're closing down another road
One way, system steals the show
Mac the knife swigs a can and sings the day away

There's more life, more life, More Life In A Tramp's Vest
There's more life, more life, more life in a tramp's vest

The flower man sits down in the street
Surrounded by stock, he bought it back last week
Bring back the ladies wearing lipstick on their teeth

Make up, we make up a crappy joke
Sit back, relax, you can have a smoke
Mac the knife swigs a can and sings the day away

There's more life, more life, more life in a tramp's vest

Got back out back off the forefront
I never said or got to say bye to my boy

    Getting spacey with the common
Love of music think of this as the

Sun and the mind as a tool but we
Could bounce back from this one
With attitude will and some spirit
With attitude will and your spirit
    We'll shove it aside

    Soulfly
    Fly high
    So fly
    Fly free

Shut your shit please say what you will
I can't think side step around
    I'm bound to the freestyle
Push It down to the ground

    With a nova dash
    But they watch you
    Now climb up superslide
Our spirit so low it's coming over you

    Soulfly
    Fly High
    So fly
    Fly free

    You walk into this world

Walk into this world with your head up high

    Headup
  • This is a tribute to Dana Wells, the stepson of Max Cavalera (formerly of Sepultura), who was killed by a hit and run driver. Dana was a friend of Deftones lead singer Chino Moreno. Parts of Dana's diary was used in the lyrics: "Walk into this world with your head up high!"
  • Max Cavalera helped write this, and named his band "Soulfly" after a line in this song.
  • Cavalera: "The song we did together was very special. They'd lost a friend too. When me and Chino recorded the vocals we were both on the floor and emotions were going everywhere. It was almost as if we had Dana in the studio sitting between the two of us. We were raging so hard, and I remember looking up and seeing Chino had smashed his nose and there was blood all over his face. He had this expression on his face which said, 'How much more energy can you put into a song!' It was unbelievable! When I put that song on I get goosebumps." My Own Prison Lyrics

A court is in session, a verdict is in
No appeal on the docket today
    Just my own sin
The walls are cold and pale
    The cage made of steel
    Screams fill the room
    Alone I drop and kneel
    Silence now the sound
My breath the only motion around
    Demons cluttering around
    My face showing no emotion
    Shackled by my sentence
    Expecting no return
    Here there is no penance
    My skin begins to burn

(And I said oh) So I held my head up high
    Hiding hate that burns inside
Which only fuels their selfish pride
(And I said oh) All held captive
    Out from the sun
A sun that shines on only some
We the meek are all in one

I hear a thunder in the distance
See a vision of a cross
I feel the pain that was given
On that sad day of loss
A lion roars in the darkness
    Only he holds the key
A light to free me from my burden
    And grant me life eternally

    Should have been dead
    On a Sunday morning
    Banging my head
    No time for mourning
    Ain't got no time

    Should have been dead
    On a Sunday morning
    Banging my head
    No time for mourning
    Ain't got no time

(And I said oh) So I held my head up high
    Hiding hate that burns inside
Which only fuels their selfish pride
(And I said oh) All held captive
    Out from the sun
A sun that shines on only some
We the meek are all in one

    I cry out to God
    Seeking only his decision
    Gabriel stands and confirms
    I've created My Own Prison
    I cry out to God
    Seeking only his decision
    Gabriel stands and confirms
    I've created my own prison

(And I said oh) So I held my head up high

Which only fuels their selfish pride

    My Own Prison
  • Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti wrote the music to this song, and lead singer Scott Stapp composed the lyrics, which are about his struggles with life at a time when he was questioning his faith. He realized he had created a prison within his own mind.

After Creed became wildly popular (and at the same time, reviled), Stapp created another kind of prison for himself with drug addiction, alcoholism, and a series of unflattering incidents the tabloids lapped up. In 2012, he was able to take an honest look at his life and re-evaluate his priorities, which he wrote about in his memoir Sinner's Creed. When we spoke with Stapp the following year , he explained, "Any time we have reconciliation in life, and any time there's balance brought back into life and perspective, at the end of those things, you find peace and joy and contentment, and that's where my life is today."
  • This was Creed's first single. It was a great example of the confessional songwriting that would become Stapp's hallmark. The singer says that expressing his deepest emotions and his vulnerabilities in his songs is cathartic for him.
  • The album was initially released on Blue Collar Records, a local label that distributed it around Florida, where the band formed. It sold well and got the attention of the BMG label Wind-Up Records, which signed Creed and issued a new version of the album remixed by producer Ron Saint-Germain.

Wind-Up pushed the band by distributing this song to radio stations as a promotional single and supporting it with their first video, which was directed by Stephen Scott. The combination of radio and MTV airplay set Creed on their path to success, and Wind-Up fulfilled demand by following up with three more promotional singles from the album: "Torn," "What's This Life For," and finally, "One."

None of these singles were sold in America, which drove up sales of the album at a time when $16 CDs were still commonplace. My Own Prison eventually sold over 6 million copies Stateside, a huge total that was nearly doubled by their next album, Human Clay.
  • Creed songs were in their happy place on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, where this song went to #2. Their early singles were ineligible for the Hot 100 because they weren't sold as singles, but "My Own Prison" managed to hit #54 on the Airplay chart in March 1998, nearly a year after the album was first issued.

By the time the album's last single, "One," was released, Billboard had changed their rule about Hot 100 eligibility, so that song made #70 on the chart in April 1999, just four months before the first single from Human Clay, "Higher," was issued. This kept a constant stream of Creed on the airwaves, resulting in a backlash as listeners eventually suffered Creed fatigue.

In 1990, when The La's finally released their first album, they re-released this as a single - this time it charted at #13 in the UK and #49 in the US. Think of all the hearts
    Beating in the world
    At the Same Time
    Think of all the faces

And the stories they could tell
    At the same time
    Think of all the eyes
    Looking out into this world

Trying to make some sense of what we see
Think of all the ways we have of seeing
Think of all the ways there are of being
    Think of all the children

    Being born into this world
    At the same time
    Feel your love surround them
Through the years they'll need to grow

    At the same time
Just think of all the hands
That will be reaching for a dream
Think of all the dreams that could come true

Yes if the hands we're reaching with
    Could come together
    Joining me and you
When it comes to thinking of tomorrow

We must protect our fragile destiny
In this prescious life there's no time to borrow
The time has come to be a family
    Ohhh...

    Think of all the love
    Pouring from our hearts
    At the same time
Yes think of all the light our looks

Can shine and grow this world
    At the same time
    At the same time
Yes think what we've been givin

And yet think what we could lose
All of life is in our trembling hands
It's time to overcome our fears
And join to build a world that loves and understands

It helps to think of all the hearts
    Beating in the world
And hope for all the hearts
    Healing in the world

There's a healing music in our hearts
    Beating in this world
    At the same time

    At the Same Time
  • This song is about how we're all in it together; whatever we're going through, there are many others going through it at the same time.

It was written by Ann Hampton Callaway, a Jazz/Cabaret singer known for improvising songs based on audience suggestions. When we spoke with Callaway , she explained how Streisand helped her bring this song together: "She got on the phone with me and I was a little intimidated to speak with her, but I said, 'Barbra, what do you want me to do here?' She said, 'I want it to be simple but profound.'

What does that mean? 'I want people to understand exactly what you mean the first time you hear a song, and then the second time and third time, every time after that, to have new meanings unfold.' As it turns out, that simple guidance has been something I think of every time I write a song now. It's been a wonderful filter for everything I try to do."
  • Ann Hampton Callaway wrote the first version of this song in 1987, but wouldn't let anyone have it because she was determined to have Streisand record it. Callaway's friend Amanda McBroom, who wrote the song "The Rose," passed the song along to Streisand's record company, who loved the song, but asked for a rewrite, since Streisand is very particular about her songs. "I said I would be willing to do whatever it takes," Callaway told us. "I think it was 150 rewrites later, she said, 'OK, I think this is perfect. I think I'm ready to do it.' It was just a thrill to have that message out in the world in her voice. I knew in my guts never to give up on that dream."

    The Memory Remains
  • The woman who sings the haunting, unsettling ending and bridge is a British woman by the name of Marianne Faithfull. She started out as a member of London's '60s swing scene, moving up slowly through a life of love, loss, and drug abuse. A cohort of The Rolling Stones, she dated Mick Jagger for a while. (thanks, Lacy - Yukon, OK)
  • The song is about a celebrity who is fading into obscurity and it is driving her mad. The theme is similar to that of the movie Sunset Boulevard.
  • Some of Faithfull's lyrics ("Say yes... at least say hello...") were taken from the Marilyn Monroe movie The Misfits.
  • When Metallica plays this live, the crowd sings Faithfull's parts.
  • Metallica performed this on Saturday Night Live with Faithfull. (thanks, Bertrand - Paris, France, for above 4)
  • Metallica Faithfull recalled to Billboard magazine how the collaboration happened. "I was in Ireland, quietly living my beautiful life, and suddenly the phone rang and this voice said, 'Hello, Marianne Faithfull? This is Lars from Metallica,'" she said. "And then the story unfolded that what they wanted was to fly to Dublin and to record me for 'The Memory Remains' and put me on the song and that's what they did. And I made great friends with them of course and we stayed in touch."

    Du Hast
  • Although the German phrase does not translate to English, "Du hast" can mean "you have," but it can also mean "you hate." Therefore the song has two meanings. One being sort of "You hate me but still want to marry me" (the song is about marriage) and the other being "You want to marry me but I don't want to." (thanks, Oscar - Stockholm, Sweden)
  • There is another sort of double meaning here. If the line is read as "Tod der Scheide" it would be "until the death of the vagina" and not "until death, which would separate" ("Tod, der scheide"). The whole song is a play on German wedding vows (Wollen Sie einander lieben und achten und die Treue halten bis dass der Tod euch scheidet? - Do you want to love and respect each other and to remain faithful, until death separates you?). Instead of answering with "Ja," Till says "Nein," finally answering the question he said nothing to in the beginning. (thanks, Jason - Elko, NV)
  • "Hast" is a conjugation of the base form "haben" which means "to have." To hate, would be the verb "hassen" which would be conjugated as "Du hasst mich" (you hate me). Though they are similar they are not homophones in that the S sounds in "hasst" for "hate" would be stressed a little more then it would in "hast" for "have." This is confirmed when Till says, "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nights gesagt," which literally means "You have asked me and I have said nothing. "Hast" is used as the "haben" helper verb for the past participle "gefragt," of which its base form is "fragen," which means "to ask." (thanks, Scott - Vincennes, IN)
  • This song is played in the movie How High featuring rap artists Red Man and Method Man (thanks, Steve - Kitchener, Canada)

    Make it easy on yourself
There's nothing more you can do

  • Regarding the last two lines:
Gravity and distance change the passage of light
Gravity and distance change the color of right
Neil Peart: "The lyrics that surround it are rather unremarkable, and the context of the song seems to cast these lines in the sense of "don't be self-righteous" - something rather uninteresting. But I have used the above metaphor, changed it around, suited it to my needs. I am interested in the double sense of gravity and distance. Physical vs. metaphysical. I take the second meaning of the quotation as another way of saying there is a great difference between theory and practice. When things are serious, when we see them up close, they look different." Sunny Came Home to her favorite room
Sunny sat down in the kitchen

She says days go by I'm hypnotized
    I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
    Into the fire
Sunny came home with a list of names
    She didn't believe in transcendence
It's time for a few small repairs she said
Sunny came home with a vengeance
She says days go by I don't know why
    I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind
    Into the fire
Get the kids and bring a sweater
Dry is good and wind is better
Count the years, you always knew it
Strike a match, go on and do it
Oh days go by I'm hypnotized
    I'm walking on a wire
I close my eyes and fly out of my mind

    Sunny Came Home
  • This song is about a woman who "Makes a few repairs" to the oven, then uses the gases to burn her house down by lighting a match. She does this in an attempt to escape her past.
  • Colvin was inspired by a painting, which she used on the cover of the album. The artist was a friend of Colvin's, Julie Speed. See the painting in Song Images .
  • Before A Few Small Repairs, Colvin had never written songs about characters - they were always in the first person. She said the record was fun to make in part because she was "feeling comfortable enough to write a story instead of all the songs being so personal."
  • Colvin was born January 10, 1956 in South Dakota. She taught herself guitar by age 10 and got her break singing backup for Suzanne Vega. (thanks, Crystal - Springfield, MO, for all above)
  • Colvin's songwriting partner on this and many of her other songs was John Leventhal - he writes the music and she writes the lyrics. Leventhal is married to Colvin's good friend Rosanne Cash. (thanks, John - Stony Point, NY)
  • This won Grammys for Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the 1998 ceremony. When she won for Song of the Year, rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard rushed the stage and took the microphone. Apparently upset that his group, Wu-Tang Clan, lost Best Rap Album to Puff Daddy, he rambled about how "Wu Tang is for the children" before he was ushered offstage and a very confused Colvin was allowed to give her speech.
  • It was Colvin's producer John Leventhal who came up with the iconic mandolin riff that starts out the song. She explained to American Songwriter magazine: "We're longtime writing partners and our co-writing almost always works the same way, which is he has some music already written and I create melody and lyrics to it. Every now and then I'll get a set of lyrics without music or I'll write a bridge or something in a piece of music he's already got but generally he gives me music, I finish it out. That's what happened with 'Sunny Came Home,' he had a whole piece of music and no words and no melody and I came up with that."

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love

And I hope you're thinking of me
