A Summer Song Lyrics

Trees swayin' in the summer breeze
Showin' off their silver leaves
As we walked by

Soft kisses on a summer's day
Laughing all our cares away
Just you and I

Sweet sleepy warmth of summer nights
Gazing at the distant lights
In the starry sky

They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
But don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no

And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you

They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
But don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no

And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you
And dream of you

A Summer Song
  • This was the biggest hit by the British duo Chad & Jeremy, who were sometimes confused with another British duo: Peter & Gordon.
  • The melody bears some resemblance to Buddy Holly's "Words of Love," which was covered by The Beatles the same year. The lyrics and the melody are both upbeat and lushly melancholic. (thanks, Charles - Charlotte, NC, for above 2)

She Used To Love Me A Lot Lyrics

I saw her through the window today
She was sittin' in the Silver Spoon cafe
    I started to keep going
    But something made me stop
She Used To Love Me A Lot

She looked lonely and I knew the cure
Old memories would win her heart for sure
I thought I'd walk on in
And I give it my best shot
She used to love me a lot

I sat down beside her and she smiled
She said where have you been it's been awhile
She was glad to see me
I could almost read her thoughts
She used to love me a lot

She used to love me with a love that wouldn't die
Looking at her now I can't believe I said good-bye
It would only take a minute to turn back the clock
She used to love me a lot

I remember how good it was back then
And I said it's not to late to start again
We could spend a night together
Take up where we left off
She used to love me a lot

But I panicked as she turned to walk away
As she went out the door I heard her say
Yes I'm in need of something
But it's something you ain't got
But I used to love you a lot

I thought she loved me with a love that wouldn't die
Looking at her now I can't believe she said good-bye
She just left me standing there, I never been so shocked
She used to love me a lot
She used to love me a lot
She used to love me a lot, she used to love me a lot, she used to love me a lot

She Used To Love Me A Lot
  • In the early 1980s, Johnny Cash recorded a series of tunes with producer Billy Sherrill that were shelved after completion. The singer hung onto the master tapes, which his son John Carter Cash came across among a huge stash of Johnny and wife June Carter's effects. The album was eventually released through Legacy Recordings on March 25, 2014.
  • This mid-tempo ballad of regret was released as the project's first single. "I really love this song," Carter Cash told Rolling Stone. "The depth that's there reminds me of the real serious stuff that Dad did later in his life. And I truly think it's one of the beautiful undiscovered gems in my dad's catalog."
  • Among the instrumentalists is a young Marty Stuart, whose mandolin helps color the song. Stuart was a member of Johnny Cash's backing band between 1980 and 1985 and married the Man in Black's daughter Cindy in 1983. They divorced five years later. "I thought I was going to work with the character that has made the Folsom records, all San Quentin, but what I walked into was more of a family show," recalled Stuart to Uncut magazine April 2014. "He was Patriot Cash, working a lot of state fairs."

"I sensed right off the bat that he was doing his duty, that he was musically discontent," Stuart added. "He asked me not longer after I'd been there, 'How are you liking it?' I said, 'Pretty good.' And he went, 'Pretty good?' I said, 'Yeah, the music is not what I thought it was. I love it but...' We didn't have to go much further, because I think he knew what I was feeling, and I certainly knew what he was feeling."
  • The song was written by Dennis Morgan, Charles Quillen, and Kye Fleming and was also recorded by David Allan Coe. His version was released in December 1984 as the lead single from the album Darlin', Darlin, peaking at #11 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart.
  • The video was directed by filmmaker John Hillcoat, whose resume includes the movies The Proposition and The Road. Hillcoat shot the clip over the course of a month in locations across the United States. "I've been a lifelong fan" (of Cash), Hillcoat told the Guardian. "The first film I made was a prison film [Ghosts … of the Civil Dead] so there's definitely a connection there with the whole Folsom prison thing. I was also inspired by his voice, which has a truth to it at all times - that's always helped me in terms of working with actors, no matter how big."
  • Speaking with Billboard magazine, Carter Cash commented on the song's lyrical content. "We could take it at face value as a song about a woman, but it's this world we live in, America for that matter, the things that moved on," he said. "In many ways, you gotta look back and see the foundations that were laid are firmly in place. It's good to remember what they were and how we got where we are. We can look at it in many ways, but for me it's just a great communication in my experience with my father. To listen to the song reminded me of who he was and his integrity and strength as a person."

  • Yes drummer Bill Bruford wrote this instrumental about the management of the group. They get 5% for essentially doing nothing. (thanks, Mike - Mountlake Terrace, Washington)
  • Each of the five members of Yes contributed one track of their own design to this album. Bill Bruford created this, which was played by the entire group with percussion instruments. "The Fish" was created by Chris Squire using only the bass guitar. Steve Howe did "Mood For A Day" as a solo guitar piece. "Cans And Brahms" was arranged by Rick Wakeman, and he played all the parts as well. Jon Anderson sang all the vocal parts in "We Have Heaven" himself. (thanks, Randy - Chicago Heights, IL)
  • The liner notes for the album describe this song as "a sixteen bar tune by Bill Bruford, played twice by the group, and taken directly from the percussion line."

    Cans And Brahms Lyrics

    Cans And Brahms
  • This song is made up of extracts from Brahms' 4th Symphony in E minor, Third Movement. It was arranged by keyboard player Rick Wakeman, who said the piece "was dreadful, but contractual hangups prevented me from writing an original solo track."

Wakeman was also recording as a solo artist at the time, but for a different record company (he was on A&M, Yes was on Atlantic). He did write an original piece for the album called "Handle With Care," but when legalities abrogated that effort, he did "Cans And Brahms" (credited to Johannes Brahms) for Fragile, and reworked "Handle" as "Catherine of Aragon" for his 1973 solo album The Six Wives of Henry VIII.
  • Each of the five members of the band contributed one track of their own design to this album. "Cans And Brahms" was keyboard player Rick Wakeman's contribution, and he played all the parts on the song. Keep It To Yourself Lyrics

    You turn on the light
Then you turn it back off
'Cause sleeping alone, yeah it ain't what you thought
It's the drip of the sink
It's the click of the clock
And you're wondering if I'm sleeping

    You heard from your friends
    That I'm doing okay
And you're thinking, that maybe you made a mistake
And you want me to know
    But I don't wanna know
    How you're feeling

    Keep It To Yourself
If you think that you still love me
    Put it on a shelf
    If you're looking for someone
    Make it someone else
    When you're drunk
    And it's late
And you're missing me like hell
    Keep it to yourself

If you see me out and I'm standing alone
Well it don't mean that I'm gonna need a ride home
If you walk up to me like it ain't what it is
I know that it ain't gonna end with a kiss

    So keep it to yourself
If you think that you still love me
    Put it on a shelf
    If you're looking for someone
    Make it someone else
    When you're drunk
    And it's late
And you're missing me like hell
    Just keep it to yourself
    Yeah keep it to yourself

    Yea, when you're drunk
    And it's late
    And you're sad
And you hate going home alone
'Cause you're missing me like hell
    Keep it to yourself
    Yea keep it to yourself

    Yeah, keep it to yourself
Hm yeah keep it to yourself

    Keep It To Yourself
  • This heartbreak song finds Musgraves wishing to be left alone in order to move on after a bad breakup.

    Keep it to yourself
If you think that you still love me put it on a shelf
If you're lookin' for someone, make it someone else
    When you're drunk
    And it's late
And you're missin' me like hell
    Keep it to yourself

Musgraves wrote this portrait of a depressed girl attempting to get over a broken relationship with Shane McAnally and Luke Laird. The same trio also penned her Same Trailer Different Park tracks "Blowin' Smoke" and "Step Off."
  • This was a hard song for Musgraves to write. She explained: "I was going through a bit of a personal down moment and a breakup, and self-discipline has never been something that I've been very good at. So, when this song talks about keeping it to yourself, it's just about knowing and wanting to know how that person feels about you like in a situation, but just knowing that it's not good for you anymore and that you literally have to be the strong person and say, 'Don't tell me, because it's just going to rope me back in.'"

"It's going to create that cycle again, I feel like that's something that a lot of people go through and it's about getting over that hump," Musgraves continued. "That hard part where you're just going to die because this person's not there anymore so literally you just have to be like, 'If you have feelings for me, just put them on a shelf,' like I don't want to hear about them."
  • The song title came from Kacey's mother. "My mom, she's always sending me song ideas. Here and there she'll text me, and some of 'em are doozies," said the singer. "But she had this one, she said, 'Keep It To Yourself,' one day, and I thought that'd be a really cool song title…I typically don't start writing sessions off with a title, but I brought it one day to Shane McAnally and Luke Laird, and they loved it."
  • The song was released as the fourth single from Same Trailer Different Park. "I did a little Twitter poll to see kind of what the fans were feeling as far as what they would love to hear next," Musgraves explained. "I've been able to put out songs that are my personal favorites off the record, so this time I wanted to know what the fans would like to hear. There were some that were really high-charting in the poll, [and] 'Keep It To Yourself' was one of 'em. It's one of 'em that I get a ton of people just saying like, 'That is so me right now, and I just really have been through that.' So, it's for me some, but it's also definitely for the fans."

The Revealing Science Of God Lyrics

The Revealing Science Of God can
Be seen as an ever-opening flower in which
Simple truths emerge examining the complexities
And magic of the past and how we should not forget
The song that has been left to us to hear. The
Knowledge of God is a search, constant and clear.

Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources,
Chased amid fusions of wonder, in moments hardly seen forgotten
Colored in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge,
Amused but real in thought, we fled from the sea whole.
    Dawn of thought transferred through
Moments of days under searching earth
Revealing corridors of time provoking memories,
    Disjointed but with purpose,
Craving penetrations offer links with the self instructor's sharp
And tender love as we took to the air, a picture of distance.
Dawn of our power we amuse redescending as fast as misused
Expression, as only to teach love as to reveal passion chasing
Late into corners, and we danced from the ocean.
Dawn of love sent within us colours of awakening among the many
Won't to follow, only tunes of a different age, as the links span
Our endless caresses for the freedom of life everlasting.

    Talk to the sunlight caller
    Soft summer mover distance mine

Called out a tune but I never saw the face
    Heard but not replaced
I ventured to talk, but I never lost my place

Cast out a spell rendered for the light of day
    Lost in lights array
I ventured to see, as the sound began to play

What happened to this song we once knew so well
Signed promise for moments caught within the spell
I must have waited all my life for this
    Moment moment

The future poised with the splendor just begun
The light we were as on

    The Revealing Science Of God
  • This is the first song of four on a double album. Lead singer Jon Anderson based the lyrics of these songs on part of Paramhansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. Yogananda was an Indian guru who came to the US and taught Eastern spirituality to his followers, including many self-realization techniques. The passage in the book describes the four part Shastric scriptures - texts which not only take care of religion and social life, but also of medicine, music, art, architecture.
  • The song is about the dawn of light, thought, our power, and of love, to the creation and beginning all of the good things which bring happiness to our lives. That these wonderful forces seem to have been lost by the human race through their own negligence. (thanks, Mike - Mountlake Terrace, Washington, for above 2)
  • Jon Anderson is a lover of nature, and he wanted to record the Tales From Topographic Oceans album outdoors in a woodland area north of London. He envisioned a makeshift studio in a tent, capturing the sounds of the woods on the recording. His bandmates nixed the idea, so Anderson showed up at the sessions with bales of hay, trees, and cardboard cutouts of animals which he placed around the studio.
  • When Yes toured in support of Tales From Topographic Oceans, they played all four sides of the double album, straining the attention of some listeners with a full blast of new music, but delighting others who relished in seeing the album brought to life.

This song in particular was one of Jon Anderson's favorites to perform. He told us : "People would just sit there and listen for 20 minutes each time, and feel the energy at the end of the piece. We were so convinced about the music, we played it like it was a symphony, and then we finished the piece totally exhausted."

As the tour progressed, the set list was altered to include some of the band's old favorites. It was a trying time for keyboard player Rick Wakeman, who left Yes after the tour.
  • This song runs 20:23, and that was after the edit. Steve Howe says that in its original form, the song lasted 28 minutes, but they had to make cuts just so it would fit on vinyl. He says that he and Jon Anderson considered this song the "accessible" part of the album.

    The First Day of School
  • This song was inspired by Joe Grushecky 's earliest memories, his first day of school, and follows all the other firsts in his life, like becoming a special education teacher. He told VVN Music: "Actually, I'm in my sixties, so that's one of the first memories I've retained, that first day of school. We started in first grade. There wasn't any kindergarten back then. My best friend and next door neighbor, Jackie, and I were these real rough coal miner kids. His mom and my mom are walking out after meeting us and Jackie had a freakin' meltdown. He started crying and that's where the song got started, with the line 'Jackie started crying, guess he misses his Mom' and I just sort of took it from there. It was always stressful, that first day of school for me. Summers over, get back to the grind."

Do me wrong, do me right
Tell me lies, but hold me tight
Save your good-byes for the morning light
But Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight

    Say good-bye and say hello
Sure 'nough good to see you
    But it's time to go
    Don't say yes, but please
    Don't say no
I don't want to be lonely tonight

    Go away then, damn you
Go on and do as you please, yeah
You ain't gonna see me getting down on my knees
I'm undecided and your heart's been divided
You've been turning my world upside down

Do me wrong, do me right, right now baby
Go on and tell me lies, but hold me tight
Save your good-byes for the morning light, morning light
But don't let me be lonely tonight
I don't want to be lonely tonight

Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight
  • This was the lead single from One Man Dog, a concept album about fame primarily recorded in Taylor's home studio. He explained to Mojo magazine July 2009: "I wrote a number of songs that talked about being uneasy about fame. There are things about it that are odd, and should be questioned."
  • This song finds Taylor asking a girl to spend the night to fend off his loneliness. He comes off a bit desperate and very capricious, at one point telling her that he's not going to beg, but then preceding to do so. It sounds a lot like the manipulations of an addict, which Taylor was at the time. The song was released the same year he married Carly Simon (they divorced in 1983).
  • The Isley Brothers covered this in 1973. Eric Clapton recorded it in 2001 for his album Reptile.
  • Jazz giant Michael Brecker is featured on tenor sax. He was a popular session player on many rock and pop songs in the '70s and '80s.

Taylor sang on a version that was included on Brecker's 2001 solo album Nearness of You: The Ballad Book. This version earned Taylor a Grammy win for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

    Sexercize Lyrics

    Flexin', we're uptight
    Keep on moving too nice
    Move it for me tonight
    Let me see you Sexercize
    It's not just your body
Gotta keep it up with me
    My mind is seven sea
    Let me see you sexercize
I wanna see you beat all your best times
And if you're lucky I'mma teach you

(Let's just turn you blind) Let me see you sexercize
    Come on, baby (bounce, bounce)
    Sexercize
    Feel the burn
    Sexercize
Let me see you take it down, take it down
Let me see you take it up
Let me see you bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce

    Let me see you sexercize
    Come on, baby (bounce, bounce)
    Sexercize
    Feel the burn
    Sexercize
Let me see you take it down, take it down
Let me see you take it up
Let me see you bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
    Let me see you

    Stretch it up baby
    You take your time now
    I'm burning, push in me
    Let me see you sexercize
I'll make you wait for more
Make you beat to the core
    Tomorrow you'll be sore
    Let me see you sexercize

I wanna see you beat all your best times
And if you're lucky I'mma teach you

(Let's just turn you blind) Let me see you sexercize
    Come on, baby (bounce, bounce)
    Sexercize
    Feel the burn
    Sexercize
Let me see you take it down, take it down
Let me see you take it up
Let me see you bounce bounce, bounce, bounce

    Let me see you sexercize
    Come on, baby (bounce, bounce)
    Sexercize
    Feel the burn
    Sexercize
Let me see you take it down, take it down
Let me see you take it up
Let me see you bounce bounce, bounce, bounce
    Let me see you

    Get it, get it, Sexercize
Put your hands in the sky if you feel alright
    Get it, get it, Sexercize
    Don't move it, don't quit
    If you wanna sit tight
    Get it, get it, Sexercize
    Sexercize, Sexercize
    Get it, get it, Sexercize
    Sexercize, Sexercize

    Let me see you sexercize
    Come on, baby (bounce, bounce)

    Sexercize
  • This raunchy bedroom number was produced by The Monsters & The Strangerz, and was written by Sia Furler, who served as executive producer on Kiss Me Once along with Minogue. "'Sexercize' is a little more risqué and has pushed me," the Australian singer admitted to The Sun. "But it's still within my world. I was just pushed out to the limits a couple of times."
  • The video was directed by photographer Will Davidson, who also shot the viral clip for "Skirt." The visual takes the viewer on a voyeuristic journey working out and acts as a homage to Olivia Newton-John's promo for her song "Physical." Kylie told Radio.com : "We were channeling 'Physical,' we were channeling Jane Fonda and also a video by Malcolm McClarren for Madame Butterfly, which was just fantastic."

"It's all about girls wandering around in a sauna, so between those three, they were my references," she continued. "The video is directed by a great Australian photographer and directed, Will Davidson, who took all of my references and made them a reality. Job done."
  • Minogue launched the Sexercize website , which was created to showcase the song through the eyes of other collaborators such as director Roman Coppola, the astrologers Starsky + Cox, designer Jean Paul Gaultier and National Geographic TV. The singer was asked by Rolling Stone what the inspiration was for the project? She replied; "Well, what is sexercize? It's everything, it's nothing, it's everything, it's whatever, really. It was important with that song to have a lot of fun with it — it's not a single, but it's a song that we could get some traction with, have some fun, be a bit saucy."

"I've been talking to my friend Richard Christiansen, who founded Chandelier Creative, for years, saying, 'We've got to do something together,'" she added. "This seemed like the perfect vehicle. It was fantastic to have such great and varied artists take the time and join in on the fun of this project. I've never done anything like this — and I actually can't think of another artist who has, so maybe it's a first? I'm not sure."

Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) Lyrics

    There's a port on a western bay
And it serves a hundred ships a day
Lonely sailors pass the time away
    And talk about their homes

And there's a girl in this harbor town
And she works layin' whiskey down
They say, Brandy, fetch another round
She serves them whiskey and wine

The sailors say Brandy, you're a fine girl(you're a fine girl)
What a good wife you would be(such a fine girl)
Yeah your eyes could steal a sailor from the sea

    Brandy wears a braided chain
Made of finest silver from the North of Spain
A locket that bears the name
Of the man that Brandy loves

He came on a summer's day
    Bringin' gifts from far away
But he made it clear he couldn't stay
    No harbor was his home

The sailors say Brandy, you're a fine girl(you're a fine girl)
What a good wife you would be (such a fine girl)
Yeah"But my life, my lover, my lady is the sea

Yeah, Brandy used to watch his eyes
When he told his sailor stories
She could feel the ocean foam rise
    She saw its ragin' glory
But he had always told the truth, lord, he was an honest man
And Brandy does her best to understand

At night when the bars close down
Brandy walks through a silent town
And loves a man who's not around
She still can hear him say
    She hears him say:Brandy, you're a fine girl (you're a fine girl)
"What a good wife you would be" (such a fine girl)
"But my life, my lover, my lady is the sea"
    It is, yes it is,
Say, Brandy, you're a fine girl (you're a fine girl)
What a good wife you would be (such a fine girl)
But my life, my lover, my lady is the sea

    Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)
  • The four members of Looking Glass are alumni of Rutgers University, and the Spring 2009 Rutgers alumni magazine carried an article about this song and the band itself. The pertinent part reads:

"The band recorded the song seven times before they got it right. 'Brandy' - based on the name of (lead singer) Elliot Lurie's high school sweetheart 'Randy' - tells the story of a musician torn between his love for a life at sea and his love for a barmaid. Released as the B-side of 'Don't It Make You Feel Good,' the song was overlooked, as was the A-side, for that matter, until Harv Moore, a Washington DC disc jockey took it up as a personal cause. After years of playing covers and their originals at frat parties and bars in the New Brunswick area, Looking Glass was signed to Epic Records by the legendary Clive Davis.

The band, appearing on Dick Clark's American Bandstand and at Carnegie Hall, never came close to matching 'Brandy's' success. And by 1973, Lurie had left for a solo career. He was replaced, but the band soon fell apart. In 1995, Looking Glass reunited to perform 'Brandy' and 'Jimmie loves Mary-Anne' at a Madison Square Garden concert. in 2000, 'Brandy' was part of the sound track for the film Charlie's Angels, for which band members and Peter Sweval's estate each received a royalty check of $30K (Sweval died of AIDS in 1992).

The members of the band also receive the modest sum of $4K each year for the general use of the song. Says former drummer Jeff Grob, wistfully: 'If only liquor commercials were allowed on TV.

Where the former band members are today: Larry Gonsky RC'70 (keyboards) teaches music in the Morristown school district; Jeff Grob CC'85 (drums) after playing with the hard-rock band Starz, returned to school and earned his landscape architecture degree. He works for Stantec, which contributed to the redesign of Route 18. He still plays locally with Richie Ranno's All Stars; Elliot Lurie RC'70 (lead guitar) manages actors and recording artists, including Corbin Bleu of High School Musical fame, in Los Angeles. He worked as an independent music film supervisor and executive vice president of music at 20th Century Fox; Pieter Sweval RC'70 (bass) played with Starz and the disco band Skatt Bros before dying of AIDS in 192. Royalties are donated by Sweval's family to AIDS research." (thanks, Steven - Patterson, NY)
  • The band was signed by Clive Davis, a legendary record executive who has nurtured the careers of many successful artists, including Santana, Billy Joel and Whitney Houston. Davis has a knack for knowing a hit song when he hears one, but he got this one wrong, releasing it as the B-side of their song "Don't It Make You Feel Good." Harv Moore, a disc jockey in Washington DC, flipped the record and played "Brandy" instead. It became very popular in the DC area, and quickly spread nationwide.
  • This was not typical of the band's sound, which caused a problem at concerts. While audiences expected pop songs like this one, the Looking Glass played rock, which left the crowds disappointed. The band broke up less than two years later.
  • There was a song called "Brandy" by an artist named Scott English that was popular around the same time in the UK. When Barry Manilow recorded it, he changed the title to "Mandy" to avoid confusion with this song.

    Girl on TV Lyrics

I'm wishing on a falling star...
    Wondering where you are...

    [Chorus:]
I wished for you on a falling star
    Wondering where you are
Do I ever cross your mind
    In the warm sunshine
She's from the city of angels
Like Bette Davis, James Dean and Gable
Never know what she means to me
I fell for the girl that's on TV

Met her at a gala affair
She wore a green dress and everybody was there
Felt outta place as she looked into my eyes
Shook her hand around 9pm and now
I'm never gonna be the same again
Never have to be on a movie screen
To be the leading lady in all my dreams
    Shoobie-do-wop and scooby snacks
Met a fly girl and I can't relax
The only problem is she's a movie star, oh
My friends, they won't believe me
If they could only see me
At the risk of sounding cheesy
I think I fell for the Girl on TV

    [Chorus:]

    Everybody knows her name
Want to take her picture and they're glad she came
But I just want to be there when she's down, down
    (Be there when she's down)
    I don't want her autograph
I just want to call her up and make her laugh
Never had to be on the movie screen
To be the leading lady in all my dreams
    Shoobie-do-wop and scooby snacks
    I met a fly girl and I can't relax
Only problem is she's a movie star
My friends, they won't believe me
If they could only see me
At the risk of sounding cheesy
I think I fell for the girl on TV

    [Chorus:]

I wished for you on a falling star
I'm wishing on a star and I'm wondering where you are
    Wondering where you are
Do I cross your mind in the warm sunshine

Yeah, so I wished for you on a bright, shining star
Everywhere I look, there you are
It's the girl in the green dress
    She took my breath away
And now I look to the sky for the better day
To the beat why'all and scooby snacks
    I met a fly girl and I can't relax
Never had to be on the movie screen
'Cause she's the leading lady in all my dreams

    [Chorus:]

    Girl on TV
  • Rich Cronin began dating Jennifer Love Hewitt in 1999 after meeting her backstage at the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards. The LFO lead singer wrote "Girl on TV" about Hewitt after she asked him to pen her a song. The gesture didn't prevent the actress from dumping Cronin the following year.
  • Hewitt also appeared in the song's music video, which was directed by Gregory Dark (Britney Spears' "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart," Linkin Park's "One Step Closer").
